The writer and documentarian Sam Stephenson — author, most recently, of the fine volume, Gene Smith's Sink: A Wide-Angle View — offers the first list, on Monday, February 18 at Songs for Listening. Sam is a serious listener, a fearless researcher, and a deep, wonderfully idiosyncratic writer. Sam has written for The New York Times, The Paris Review, Tin House, among others, and is the founder of Rock Fish Stew. He was 2010 and 2015 ASCAP Deems Taylor / Virgil Thomson Prize winner.
